□ KoPHWA conducted a "Joint Campaign for Consideration of Pregnant Women" in collaboration with the Busan Transportation Corporation on November 22th. The campaign aimed to promote a societal atmosphere where pregnant women are cared for and respected.

□ Since 2007, KoPHWA, together with the Ministry of Health and Welfare, has been producing and distributing the "Pregnant Women Care Emblem," a bag accessory that is easily noticeable and convenient to carry, to ensure early-stage pregnant women receive the respect they deserve.

□ Since 2016, the Busan Transportation Corporation has been operating the "Pink Light Project," which enhances the convenience of pregnant women using public transportation. When a pregnant woman approaches the designated seating area, voice prompts and lights are activated on seat receivers to encourage others to offer their seats.

□ During the campaign, various interactive programs were conducted with citizens, including pregnancy simulation experiences, promotion of Busan's Pink Light initiative, surveys, and sticker activities to gauge awareness of consideration for pregnant women.

□ President Lee Sam-sik of the KoPHWA stated, "We hope that this joint campaign has helped pregnant women feel respected and enabled them to use public transportation safely." He added, “KoPHWA will strive to raise awareness of the Pregnant Women Care Emblem so that a culture of consideration for pregnant women can spread in everyday life.”
